Forbes names Upcycled Food as the ‘coolest trend you’ve probably never heard of’.

Here at Upcycled Grain Project, we like to think of ourselves as forward thinkers. But don’t take our word for it – take Forbes, who has named Upcycled Food as the ‘coolest trend’ in 2021. As one of the few producers of upcycled foods in New Zealand, we’re pretty damn excited about it.

Why is this so exciting? Progress! The extent of the impact that Upcycled Foods can have on the planet is dependent on consumers’ purchasing decisions… our staff can only eat so many snacks on their own. This trend gets the word ‘upcycling’ out there and raises awareness of this sustainable practice. As a result, upcycled foods should become more widely available, making it easier for your guys – our sustainable superheroes, to purchase products that prioritise your health and the health of our planet. Eventually this trend will see a change in preferences, as purchasing upcycled foods becomes normalised… see, progress!
